in my life

First time ko marinig ang tungkol sa movie na to, inantay ko na talaga to. Sobrang naintriga ako. Well syempre, In My Life i think mark as a first major gay-themed film from Star Cinema. John Lloyd Cruz and Luis Manzano will play a gay couple in the movie, their first role as such. And one of the higlights of the film is the controversial “kissing scene” between the two actors.

Nung napanood ko na yung trailer and the scene where Vilma suddenly burst into tears after JLC said that “Hindi lang sayo umiikot ang mundo, kahit mawala ka pa…(something something)” really moved me! Seemed like another well-made movie. Trailer pa lang you can see that it is well-acted and its story has depth. Hopefully the movie will not disappoint. JLC really shows depth and versatility as an actor, as well as Luis Manzano. I love the scenes, I love the storyline!

In My Life stars John Lloyd Cruz, Luis Manzano and the Star for all Seasons Ms. Vilma Santos. It is a story of a teacher who went to New York to try her luck abroad. She also wants to be with his son, Mark( played by Luis ). Eventually, she will meet Mark ( John Lloyd ) who happens to be Mark’s boyfriend. As the story goes, Noel will be diagnosed with cancer that he will hide from his mother.

In my own opinion, as i have personally watched the trailer, it has a lot of lessons in life that all of us should learn. It’s really not about the “gay couple” issue, its more about being a family.

Cant wait na talaga for this movie. September 16 ang showing! Kung hindi natuloy yung “And I Love You So” movie ko, eto hinding hindi ako magpapapigil ditoooo!!

Yun na~
